Cashback offer on dining and entertainment
The Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program is back, and while previous rounds were restricted to certain days, this round is available any day of the week.
Earlier this year in March, the ‘Statewide Dining Vouchers’ program reimbursed 25 per cent of dining costs, but only from Mondays to Thursdays – this recent round offers money back on purchases made any day, anywhere in Victoria.
The new round of the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program opened on Monday 19 September, and offers 25 per cent cash back when you spend $40 or more.
Anyone with an Australian bank account can make multiple claims until they reach a combined total of $125 cash back, and all that’s required to make a claim is a receipt and bank account details.
Eligible dining locations include cafés, restaurants, pubs, and take away shops, but food ordered through home delivery companies or purchased at convenience stores, milk bars, supermarkets, greengrocers, grocery stores, service stations, confectionary shops and packaged food stores are not eligible for a claim.
For entertainment, events, cinemas, exhibitions, museums, galleries, zoos, live performances, and amusement parks are covered, but sports, gaming, transport costs and ticket resales are not.
The program is available on a first come, first served basis until the $25 million of funds are exhausted, or by 11:59pm Friday 16 December 2022.
