Centenary celebration

A Bacchus Marsh woman celebrated 100-years of life amid the COVID-19 chaos, saying the pandemic didn’t stop “the steady stream of visitors” on her front porch.
Hilde Gogeff’s family donned their beloved’s front yard with a banner representing the life she’s lived, a photo of her German home on the right, and her Bacchus Marsh home on the left.
Loved ones passed on their wishes, all the while obeying the 1.5m social distancing restrictions. Mrs Gogeff said that, although she couldn’t have a party, she had a “hectic day.”
