Christmas joy at the library

EXPERIENCE festive magic at the Bacchus Marsh Village Green with a special Christmas story time next month.

The event, to be held Thursday 19 December from 10am, is free and open to children of all ages.

Moorabool Shire Council CEO Derek Madden said the event is about saying thank you to community members who have supported library programs.

“The Christmas story time session at the Village Green in Bacchus Marsh is our way of thanking all the children and families who have attended and supported our early years library programs throughout the year,” he said.

“Hopefully we create lasting memories and encourage children to view libraries as welcoming, exciting places where stories are celebrated and come alive.”

There will also be special visit from the jolly man in red and his helpers.

“Children will get a chance to meet Santa, listen to Christmas stories and enjoy our festive decorations,” said Mr Madden.
