Concerns fire brigades under prepared

The Fire Danger Period is in force and that means residents need to be prepared to action their Fire Plan if necessary.
Local fire brigades are concerned, not with residents being under prepared but the brigades themselves, as evidence rises, they are lacking training when it was revealed last December by Labor’s Minister for Emergency Services, Lisa Neville, the Andrews Labor Government failed to prioritise the state’s fire preparedness and fire services in 2020, according to the Oppositions.
