Council awaits Minister phone call
Concerns remain for Moorabool Shire Council about the impact of increased truck traffic on the historically significant Avenue of Honour in Bacchus Marsh, arising from the existing operations and proposal to accept West Gate tunnel spoil at Maddingley Brown Coal.
Moorabool Mayor David Edwards said these impacts are likely to be felt not only on roads managed by Moorabool Shire Council but also other neighbouring Councils in the regional network that are en route to the site.
