Crafty kids protect platypus

You might not have even known it, but platypus live in Moorabool’s waterways – a fact that Bacchus Marsh’s Platypus Alliance have brought to the fore in a recent poster competition.
Children and teenagers up to the age of 18 were invited to submit posters to the Platypus Alliance with the theme ‘Protect Our Platypus’. Winning entries from five age groups were awarded this month with ‘platypus packs’, which contain items such as platypus-themed socks, brooches, magnets, activity books, stickers and pencil sets.
