Creative festival seeks steering committee

EXPRESSIONS of interest are open for community members who would like to join the Hide and Seek Festival steering group.

Moorabool Shire Council is looking for people with expertise in visual, performing, literary arts and music, the events sector and the agri-tourism sector, or local venue and business owners.

The steering committee will help shape the next festival, which will occur in 2027 with pop-up and development projects in the preceding year.

Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell encouraged residents to apply.

“Hide and Seek Festival is an amazing festival that provides a platform to showcase Moorabool Shire’s unique townships through arts, culture and agricultural experiences,” he said.

“The steering group will provide guidance and expertise into development and delivery of the festival, assist Council to identify collaboration and long-term partnerships, and build industry capacity.”

Expressions of interest can be made by Saturday 1 November on the Moorabool Shire Council website.
