Deal done

A new owner and provider have taken over the Ballan Childcare Centre.
The move has assured the future of local childcare, according to Ballan District Health and Care.
BDH&C decided to sell the business as part of its plan to dig its way out of deep financial woes.
The deal is for the sale of the childcare business only, not the land and buildings, which will continue to be leased by the new childcare service owner – with some improvements on the way. BDH&C do not own the land or buildings.
The service has been bought by Mrs Navjeet Kaur, Director of ANM Business Services.
“Mrs Kaur plans to renovate the outdoor area to improve this important play space for the children,” said BDH&C CEO Rowena Clift.
