On Sunday 23 February, a fleet of vintage and classic vehicles will be parked throughout the town’s Main Street as part of the group’s Main Street Coffee and Cars event.
Acting president Darryl Birrell said the initiative is about showcasing Bacchus Marsh and its businesses to visitors.
“It’s to promote Bacchus Marsh and bring some more money into the town and local businesses,” he said.
“You walk around and talk to people around town and local business owners and many of them are struggling, and you’ve got to help out. That’s what it’s all about.”
Running from the Grant Street intersection through to around Young Street, about 150 cars are expected to feature.
“People can just rock up, and everyone walks around and looks at each other’s cars, and we push them to go and have a coffee or whatever they want,” Mr Birrell said.

“We’ll have Ballarat Rod and Custom Car Club, Geelong Rodders; it’ll be a great effort all around.”
The group previously held a Coffee and Cars event in May, which Mr Birrell estimated saw 30 cars on show.
Established nearly 40 years ago, the group also hosts an annual Show ‘n’ Shine Swap Meet, which was recently named Community Event of the Year in Moorabool Shire Council’s Australia Day honours.
“From last year’s show in October, we’ve handed out donations this year, probably in the sense of $20,000,” Mr Birrell said.
The majority of proceeds from that event are given to local charities, as well as support and emergency services.
Funds from the upcoming Coffee and Cars offering will also be donated. The event will run from 8.30am to noon.
