BACCHUS Marsh Racecourse and Recreation Reserve will get a new off-leash dog park.
Member for Eureka Michaela Settle announced on Tuesday morning that the reserve would benefit from Round 2 of the State Government’s New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program.
“Quality, green open spaces close to home are so important to the health and wellbeing of our local communities, giving our dog owners and their beloved furry companions a new ‘leash’ on life,” Ms Settle said.
The BMRRR dog park works will include the installation of securely fenced-off areas for small and large dogs, amenities, shade structures, and landscaping that’s pleasant for both human and canine users.
