Don’t drive distracted
Speeding and driver distraction are some of the leading causes of serious injuries and death on Victorian roads. The picture you’re seeing represents the reality of dangerous driving, especially during this time of the year.
Wherever you are right now, whatever journey you’re on, whether it be a car, motorbike, or bicycle, Victoria Police appealing to you to drive and ride safely, take your time getting to your destination, don’t drink or do drugs and then drive, obey all road signage, and avoid the temptation to pick up your phone.
The weather getting warmer means more people are out on the road. With the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Victoria Police want to remind everyone that the lucky ones get caught.
