Dreaded ‘Lerdy’ strikes again

It is getting beyond a joke, with SES volunteers from the Bacchus Marsh unit involved in their seventh search in the Lerderderg Gorge area in the last two months.
Around 8.30pm on Saturday 25 June, SES Rescue crews were on scene searching for two missing hikers.
The volunteers successfully located the hikers just after 10pm, escorting them back to the carpark.
A spokesperson said on social media the hike involved difficult terrain.
