EES sparks probe into power

It seems everyone is pleased that Minister for Planning Richard Wynne announced an Environment Effects Statement (EES) will be required for the overhead high voltage transmission line project, even AusNet Services.
Mr Wynne said in a statement the Victorian Government will ensure the potential environmental impacts of the Western Victoria Transmission Network Project will be fully and transparently assessed before the project goes ahead.
