Expectant mothers not included in vaccine trials

Pregnant and breastfeeding women are often overlooked when testing new vaccinations, and a women’s health professional says COVID-19 is no different.
Former Head of Maternity and current obstetrician at the Bacchus Marsh Hospital, Dr Nisha Khot, said it remains unclear whether the COVID-19 vaccine carries any side effects for pregnant women.
