Native Australian mammals have been spotted in Moorabool but many of these sightings are going unreported.
There have been three reported sightings of platypus in Moorabool this year, two of which occurred in the Werribee Gorge, and one in Ballan.
President of the Bacchus Marsh Platypus Alliance, Jodie Valpied, explained to the Moorabool News the importance of reporting a platypus sighting.
