Financial counselling for farmers

November 7, 2022 BY

A lot of primary producers and small rural businesses are hurting financially in these difficult times, but there’s an experienced team on standby to help.

The Rural Financial Counselling (RFCS) is co-funded by Commonwealth and State Governments, and provides free and independent financial information, decision-making support, and referral services to farmers and small related businesses experiencing, or at risk of, financial hardship.

RFCS’ Victoria West offices are located in Hamilton, Ballarat, Cobden, Colac, Horsham and Warrnambool, and counsellors can visit businesses and residences to provide advice and support.

Additional funding has been made available for RFCS’ services as a result of the floods, and their impact on the agricultural sector.
