Flip My Ride
Victoria Police is helping young people who’ve been caught up in the youth justice system get back on track through a free new program.
Employment and training provider AGA are fuelling the ‘Flip My Ride’ program in partnership with Victoria Police, which sees young people aged between 12 and 24-years old, complete the free 16-week course.
The un-wheel experience allows participants to not only restore a car but access a range of welfare services and engage with officers from the Brimbank and Melton Proactive Policing and Multicultural Liaison units.
The course also aims to prevent further criminal activity and encourage them to work in trades such as mechanics and hospitality.
