Footy fun fights cancer
ST Bernard’s Parish Primary School Bacchus Marsh celebrated their annual footy colours day last week.
Ahead of the first round of the 2024 AFL finals, pupils dressed up in the colours of their favourite team and brought in a gold coin donation all to benefit the Fight Cancer Foundation.
Together the students raised a total of $338 for the charity.
A KABOOM Sports session was also held on the day, offering a range of fun games activities the children could try, all while testing their sporting skills.
The day ended with a staff versus students handball competition where the students took out the win.
