BALLAN community leader Kevin Harper has been honoured with an invitation to visit Government House, New South Wales for a special event celebrating the McGrath Foundation’s twentieth anniversary.
The event will take place on Friday 5 September.
The invitation to attend the celebrations recognises Mr Harper’s significant contributions to the McGrath Foundation.
In 2019, Mr Harper led the successful McGrath Foundation initiative, PINK UP Your Town BALLAN.
The campaign, involving the Ballan, Gordon, Mount Egerton, Blackwood and Bacchus Marsh districts, raised $28,442.
Mr Harper, who was named 2019 Moorabool Citizen of the Year, has been active in several local organisations.
“It’s a privilege to be recognised for our community’s efforts in supporting breast cancer care,” said Mr Harper, reflecting on the invitation.
“The McGrath Foundation does vital work, and I’m humbled, on behalf of the Ballan community to join this milestone event.”
McGrath Foundation supporters and advocates from across Australia will join the celebration at Government House acknowledging two decades of breast cancer support.
Mr Harper’s attendance acknowledges his ongoing commitment to community health and wellbeing.
