Free fair for green thumbs
From a reptile show to a worm farming workshop and face painting, a community fair for young and old will be held in Darley and entry is free.
The Green Community Fair will be held at the Darley Community Art Garden on Saturday 8 October, kicking off at 10 am with a reptile show, and finishing at 1 pm.
Moorabool Shire Council’s Environment & Waste team will be running a Composting and Worm Farming Workshop from 11 am until 12 pm, and green goodies will also be on offer – namely some worm juice for your garden, and a native plants giveaway.
You can also attend various community stalls and a silent auction, and plenty of free activities will be available for kids too.
