Free mental health training

February 9, 2022 BY

Expressions of interest are now open for free mental health first aid training, but places are filling quickly.
Participants from Moorabool and Hepburn Shires will be taught how to help those with a developing mental health problem, experiencing worsening mental health problems, or who are in a mental health crisis, until they can receive professional help.
The course is being provided by Central Highlands Primary Care Partnership and will be made up of two components: self-paced interactive e-learning for 5 to 7 hours, and a 5-hour instructor-led Zoom session.
Both sessions are compulsory for participants. The training will require access to a computer or laptop, and an internet connection.
For more information or to express your interest, send an email to [email protected].
First preference will be given to members and leaders of community groups in Moorabool and Hepburn, if there is more demand than places for the training.
