Get a sense of Aqualink

April 23, 2023 BY

Get a sense of the scale of Moorabool Shire Council’s Aqualink Cycling and Walking Corridor.

One section remains unfunded, but when completed, Aqualink will provide a great alternative mode of transport to get from one end of Bacchus Marsh to the other, while enjoying the natural beauty alongside the Lerderderg and Werribee Rivers.

This project connects local communities, promotes active lifestyles and is a great tourism asset in the heart of Bacchus Marsh.

Aqualink is a non-car-based transport option allowing residents and visitors to Bacchus Marsh to travel to and from the town’s main attractions and services by walking or cycling.

The project will be delivered through five sections: Aqualink North (a) from the Lerderderg River to Holts Lane, Aqualink North (b) from Holts Lane to Masons Lane, Aqualink Central from Masons Lane to Main Street, Aqualink East from Main Street to Bacchus Marsh Train Station, and Aqualink West from Masons Lane to Werribee River.
