TO mark Zero Waste Week, the Moorabool community is invited to take part in a children’s and babies’ clothes swap at Lerderderg Library.

Attendees are invited to bring along good quality, stain-free clothes for children aged zero to five-years-old to swap, with no money needed.

“This fantastic event hosted by our library team ties in with national zero waste week and aims to assist with cost-of-living pressures,” said Moorabool Shire mayor Cr Ally Munari.

“No money is needed, just the willingness to give unwanted clothes a loving new home.

“This allows families to refresh their wardrobes affordably, benefitting both their wallets and the planet.”

The event will be held Saturday 7 September from 10am until 1pm.

Anyone who would like to donate clothes but not attend the swap can drop them off on Thursday 5 September between 9.30am and 12pm.

More information can be found on the Moorabool Shire website.
