Have a say in Seniors Festival
DO you have any ideas about how Moorabool Shire officers could best celebrate the region’s senior residents?
If so, the municipality wants to hear them to help shape this year’s Victorian Seniors Festival program.
The Victorian Seniors Festival is held every October, celebrating and engaging people over the age of 55 across all 79 of Victoria’s local government areas.
Events held in Moorabool Shire as part of the festival in previous years include singalongs, exercise and line dancing classes, and quizzes.
The Victorian Seniors Festival has a focus on accessibility to all, with all events either free or low-cost.
Council officers have said they are keen to hear from anyone with bright ideas on how to make the 42nd Victorian Seniors Festival different than before, and the best one ever in the shire.
If you have any thoughts, suggestions, or recommendations for an event or activity, or are part of an organised group or club who’d like to host an event, get in touch with the Community Development team by calling 5366 7100 or emailing [email protected].
