Have your say about reserve design

Following community feedback received in 2023, designs have been developed including a basketball and netball multi-court, play equipment, a walking track, bench seating, landscaping, bicycle racks, parking bays and a shelter.
“We asked the community in 2023 what they’d like to see at Carberry Drive Reserve and the top three priorities from the 45 responses were an upgraded playground, new seating and picnic areas,” mayor Cr Paul Tatchell said.
“We have now developed a draft concept design for the site and would like the community’s input on what they think of the design.
“Once we’ve heard from the community we will make a decision on the final concept design, and look forward to providing an updated park for families to enjoy.”
The land was identified as part Moorabool Shire Council’s capital works open space enhancement program which aims to improve open spaces for community use.
The State Government awarded $50,000 from the tiny towns fund to support the upgrades in 2024.
Designs are open for feedback until Monday 28 April on the Moorabool Shire Council website.
