Holiday fun coming soon
Bored over the school holidays? Moorabool Youth Services have you covered, with three days of fun planned for Moorabool teens.
The Teenage Holiday Program is open to those aged 13 to 18 who live or study in Moorabool, and kicks off with Skate Park League at Bacchus Marsh Skate Park.
Scooters begin the competition at 11 am on Monday 11 April, with BMX riders taking over the comp at 12:30, and skaters competing from 1:30 pm.
Entry is free and all abilities are welcome to take part, with skaters and riders judged based on age divisions. Competitors will be judged on tricks they land and the quality of tricks.
All competitors must wear a helmet, so make sure to bring your own if you want to take part. The event will also feature a chill out zone, live DJ performance, panna soccer challenge, and a free sausage sizzle for young people aged 12 to 25.
On Wednesday 13 April, teens can drop into Studio 22 at 182 Halletts Way, Darley, from 3 pm to 6 pm for an afternoon of chill fun. Video games, art, a pool table, and air hockey will all be available to enjoy.
Finally, on Wednesday 20 April, teens in Ballan will be able to grab a snack, play games, or even learn how to play the guitar, at 143 Inglis Street, from 1 to 3 pm.
