Hospitals in the home, “really works”

Djerriwarrh Health Services (DjHS) is providing housebound support for patients that test positive to COVID-19.
Hospitals in the Home (HITH) is not a new program, but the health service was able to transform the initiative to abide by COVID-19 restrictions.
Director of Nursing and Midwifery at DjHS, Doris Vella, told the Moorabool News the program needed to be changed quickly to ensure its success.
