Knot tied for seven decades

A couple who have lived in Moorabool since they were children are celebrating 70-years of marriage last week. A platinum milestone.
Ron and Merle Closter originally met at a Debutante Ball in Kyneton, and were married at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Bacchus Marsh on 16 December, 1950.
