Landcare – it’s all in the name
An online video released by Pentland Hills Landcare Group has called into question the planning of the Western Victoria Transmission Network Project (WVTNP), which plans to establish 190 kilometres of overhead power lines.
In the video, Nathan Lidgett, a fifth-generation farmer from Myrniong, argues that the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), which oversees national transmission planning, is not tightly regulated enough and has kept Western Victorians in the dark.
