Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
The past month has seen a slew of accidents on the Western highway between Bacchus Marsh and Ballarat. Could these be due to the absolutely shocking road surface all the way along this section? Enormous pot-holes, smashed-up patches and lumpy bitumen are a disgrace on any road, but to be on the main arterial between Melbourne and Ballarat is a joke.
This is what you get when you live in a safe Labor seat, people.
Want some changes? Get rid of Dan and Michaela Settle from their seats. After all, they’ve done bugger-all about the Western Highway in the last eight years. Oh wait; there was a Labor-authorised half-page ad in the local newspaper recently telling us that locals cared about their roads. Well, someone’s got to because Dan and Michaela sure don’t.
