Local author to launch his first book at Lerderderg Library

RESIDENTS are invited to The Arena, Lerderderg Library for the launch of Heart and Soul of Marketing by Matt Romania.

The book is a guide to empowering charities and community groups.

Romania has worked with community groups for more than a decade and wrote the book to support small charities and grassroots community organisations.

“There is something special about having my book – Heart and Soul of Marketing – in community libraries,” he said.

“Of course, book sales are good and the book is available for purchase, but my goal for this book was always to help as many not-for-profits as possible.

“Libraries help this happen by making it easier (and cheaper) to borrow my book, have a flick through to see if anything resonates, and go from there.

“So, to have the book launch at the Lerderderg Library, a place my family and I utilise on an almost weekly basis, means a lot and I appreciate all the work of the Moorabool Libraries team.”

Attendees will be able to meet the author and have their copies signed on Friday 22 August from 12pm to 1.30pm.

Lunch will be provided in a casual setting.
