Logging not out of the woods

A new state government grant to end the logging of native trees sounds like welcome news, but a local environmental group is calling for urgent action to protect fauna in the Wombat State Forest.

The Nature for Life Rally saw 40-environment groups, including local group Wombat Forestcare, congregate on the steps of Parliament House on Thursday, 28 November.
