MBC ‘Wynnes’ tick of approval

Maddingley Brown Coal’s proposed West Gate Tunnel soil storage facility has been approved by Planning Minister Richard Wynne, to the anger of locals, schools and community groups in the Bacchus Marsh area.
Amendment C95 of the Moorabool Planning Scheme was signed off by Minister Wynne on November 23, giving MBC approval to receive, store and process the PFAS-contaminated soil.
Cleanaway’s Ravenhall site has also been approved by the Minister.
