COVID-19 Scam Alert

We’ve been made aware of scam text messages claiming to be Medicare.

These text messages falsely tell people they have been in close contact with someone who has contracted Omicron and must order a free PCR test kit.

This is false.

The text messages will include a link to order a free PCR Test Kit.
Do not open it and ensure you do not click any links.

If you get a suspicious text message, there are steps you can take to protect yourself and report the scam.
