Myrniong, have your say
Moorabool Shire Council is planning to enhance the township of Myrniong, and wants to hear from the community on what improvements are most needed.
Council’s Capital Works Small Township Enhancement Program (STEP) is open for feedback until Friday 10 November, with construction works expected to commence in the 2025/26 financial year.
A budget of $150,000 has been committed per financial year for all STEP projects, with survey participants asked what modes of transport they use, and which items need upgrades in order of priority.
Items include formalised walking tracks, landscaping and tree planting, the Reserve, and street signage.
Survey participants can also leave additional feedback on modes of transport, their selection of upgrades, and any other suggestions via text boxes on the survey page.
An interactive map is also available for residents to drop a pin on and provide comments on certain parts of the township.
