New Australians to be welcomed

Moorabool Shire Council is inviting the community to join in the Shire’s official Australia Day celebrations, which includes presentation of Australia Day awards and an Australian Citizenship Ceremony.

The event will commence at 9.30am in the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall, Main Street, Bacchus Marsh.

The prestigious Australia Day Awards are one of the highest honours Council can bestow to publicly acknowledge local heroes, whose dedication and contributions may otherwise go unnoticed.

All are welcome to attend, and the event will also be live-streamed on Facebook.
