Operation Alliance Update

Victoria Police

Over the past twelve months, Victoria Police has busted some of the state’s worst youth gangs as part of Operation Alliance.

Victoria Police is currently actively monitoring 596 youth gang members across the state, down 20% from the early days of the operation in 2020. 1 in 5 are currently incarcerated in adult prisons or Youth Justice Centres.

Many of these offenders have taken the first steps to a life free of crime by cutting ties with youth gangs and not continuing to offend.
