Opportunity opened for window business

The intention was for only five-years, 30-years later, a local business is still going strong.
Tony and Edith Paarhammer moved from Vienna to Ballan in 1990 and opened a business called ‘Design and Handicraft Furniture’ in a small, rented garage. The name was later changed to ‘Paarhammer Pty Ltd’ and April marked the 30-year anniversary for the company, a Ballan business that introduced locally made, energy efficient double and triple-glazed windows and doors, after a successful kitchen building business.
