Penned words win big

Best Local Entry in a short story competition has been won by a Ballan man, telling the Moorabool News the story he wrote “carried a lot of meaning.”
Matt Barbetti took out the local award at this year’s Peter Carey Short Story Awards with his story titled ‘Sweet the Bitter’.
The awards are organised by Moorabool Shire Council and presented by the Moorabool Shire Libraries.
