Prepare for the pollen season
Did you know that airborne pollen can trigger asthma symptoms?
If your child has asthma, make sure their asthma action plan is up to date ahead of pollen season (begins 1 October).
Asthma action plans are a vital tool for knowing how to prevent and manage asthma day-to-day and how to respond in an emergency.
Asthma symptoms should be reviewed with a doctor (GP) every 6 months for children and every year for adults, and the asthma action plan should be updated if necessary.
