Produce goes to waste

Millions of dollars of fresh produce have had to be ploughed into the ground at Aussie farms – and Moorabool farmers haven’t been spared from having to make the tough decision.
The National Lost Crop Register found that over $38 million worth of produce has gone to waste during the COVID-19 pandemic, due to a lack of seasonal labour – and that figure came from just 55 farmers.
