Two major milestones have been completed and it was one of the first official engagements for newly elected Mayor, Cr David Edwards.
The new state of the art BMX track at the Bacchus Marsh Racecourse and Recreation Reserve was officially opened and coincided with the first competition meet of the BMX Club on Sunday 17 November at 9am.
Also, the completion of the new oval, housing two-soccer fields and football, is the first oval to be built for many decades.
