Recreation centre update

Here’s a snapshot of works completed to date on stage 1 of Moorabool Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC).

• bulk earthworks
• concrete slab to the administration and foyer on the ground floor
• concrete slab to the multi-purpose room on the first floor
• structural steel and roofing
• external block work
• screw piles for the court area

The 4-court indoor sports stadium will enable existing sports to expand and ensure a greater number of residents can participate in various levels of competition.

Stage 1 works commenced onsite in March, with the project expected to be finished in August 2023.
