Rescue at early morning crash

Local SES members have responded to a car crash over the weekend, with four people rescued.

SES Rescue crews returned from a single vehicle crash on Ballan Road, in Balliang.

At 3:15am on Saturday morning Emergency Services were responded to the collision scene.

SES Rescue crews used Rescue Equipment including the jaws of life to extricate one female who was trapped in the vehicle.

SES, CFA and Police then assisted Ambulance Victoria triage a further three females who were also occupants of the vehicle.

An Ambulance Victoria HEMS helicopter responded along with 3 Road Ambulances. SES crews returned at around 6:30am.
