THE magic of Christmas is coming alive on the Bellarine as the Polar Express Train Ride returns to Queenscliff.

Pulling into town later this month, the unique attraction brings Chris Van Allsbug’s children’s book, later turned into a film, to life for people of all ages.

The experience begins before passengers even get on the train, presented with their golden ticket on arrival and greeted by the conductor at the platform.

On board, passengers will be immersed in the theatrical experience, with characters along for the ride, the Hot Chocolate dance, carolling and more all included.

The magic doesn’t stop there, with a mysterious encounter with the Hobo and passengers receiving a chilled chocolate drink.

At the end of the journey, elves will be on hand to guide passengers to the North Pole where they’ll be greeted by Santa for a special memento.

The Polar Express tells the story of a boy who takes a Christmas Eve train ride to the North Pole to receive a gift from Santa, where he encounters a string of challenges along the way.

The train will arrive into Queenscliff later this month full of festive fun.

Those climbing on board are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the Polar Express and wear their co-ordinating Christmas pyjamas.

The family-friendly experience invites patrons of all ages to join in on the Christmas fun and create lasting memories.

The train will operate each Saturday and Sunday from November 30 until December 22 across multiple time slots.
