Services being brought together
IT CAN be confusing to navigate the range of government services out there, but an upcoming ‘hub day’ aims to make things simpler.
Between 10am and 12pm on Saturday 16 March, at the Melton Community Hall at 238 High Street, a Government Services Hub Day will be running.
Hosted by Federal Member for Hawke, Sam Rae, the event will help residents of Bacchus Marsh, Ballan, and surrounds connect with Federal Government agencies such as Medicare, Centrelink, NDIS, the Australian Taxation Office, and more.
Mr Rae said the event was all about making it simpler for locals to access the information and resources they need.
“We’re making it easier for our community to get the help and information they need, by bringing together Centrelink, NDIS and more into one room,” he said.
“Come and ask questions, have a chat, and learn more about the supports available to you.”
RSVPing to attend the event is essential.
To RSVP, contact Sam Rae’s office on 9070 1960, or fill in the form at samraeforhawke.com.au/government-services-hub/.
