Servo gets go ahead over Bunnings

After being stalled at a previous council meeting, a plan to build a service station and fast-food restaurant on Gisborne Road, Bacchus Marsh, has been given the go-ahead.
The matter came before the February Ordinary meeting of Council, where objectors voiced concerns over issues including the hours of operation and also the impact on traffic and pedestrian safety.
A number of changes had already been proposed, with the applicant agreeing to remove one of the two originally planned fast-food restaurants.
