MOORABOOL Shire Council is looking for community-minded people to join the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall advisory committee.

The volunteer committee advises and supports the municipality on matters related to the hall to ensure decisions are made with input from the community.

Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell said the previous committee provided important guidance, local knowledge and grassroots connections that helped the hall become what it is today.

“Their efforts have laid a strong foundation for the committee to continue supporting the hall’s future,” Cr Tatchell said.

People who are passionate about contributing to the community and local events, and who have relevant skills and experience are invited to apply.

Applicants are asked to write a brief statement outlining their experience and why they would like to be part of the committee.

Expressions of interest close on Sunday 2 November and can be made my emailing [email protected].
