Stay ahead of COVID
As children across Victoria start heading back to school for the 2023 school year, the Department of Health has offered some tips on staying healthy and safe.
Parents can help their child return to school safely by collecting free rapid antigen tests from a participating local council, testing children when they have COVID symptoms or are a close contact, and staying at home for at least 5 days and until the child no longer has symptoms if they test positive.
Getting your child up to date with their vaccinations at your local pharmacy or GP, catching up with friends outdoors or in open areas, and wearing a mask in crowded spaces are also good ways to minimise COVID risks.
