There are many ways you and your loved ones can stay safe in the heat.
Check in on loved ones, and seek medical care immediately if they are showing any signs of heat-related illness. Even if you’re not spending time outside or being active, it’s also important to important to drink more water during hot weather.
To keep cool, close windows and draw blinds, curtains, or awnings during the day, and never leave kids or pets in cars on hot days.
